Adam over at PRC News tells us (toward the end of the post) “…China has just begun accepting people with AIDS as regular people. Very telling.”
Very telling indeed. Tell it to the villagers referred to in the post below — the ones whose skulls were cracked open by the increasingly tolerant and magnanimoius CCP and its hired thugs.

Well I did just say “has just begun” didn’t I?
If you can nuance yourself to death, so can I 😉

It would be more accurate to say they have “sort-of, kind-of, a little bit but not really begun to accept people with AIDS.” Why you see this as “very telling” God only knows. After all, they announced more freedom of expression and an easing of censorship, and then locked up some young writers for 10 years (t-e-n y-e-a-r-s) for posting essays on the Internet. Benevolence is as benevolence does. From what they did in the post below, they still rank fairly low on the benevolence-o-meter.

Well, ten years ago you couldn’t dream of a Chinese official saying that, basically, “two people should get married no matter who they are if they love each other” (not exact quote). That’s what’s telling. The change. I never said they were some kind of great state or something, just noting the change going on. You know, chronicling what is happening.
