Harisu is a beautiful person. No one takes into consideration the amount of perserverence that Harisu has gone through. She was dealt a harder deck of cards in life, and look how she has utilized those cards. Her accomplishments stem much further than her astonishing looks. Until you’ve been in her shoes do not judge her or other transgendered people. I bet if you hadn’t known that she was born in a male body you wouldn’t think that she was a freak of nature. To everyone who refers to Harisu with male pronouns, please stop. It is offensive and disrespectful towards transgendered people. And it’s quite arrogant and rude.
Transsexuals(both FTM and MTF) have always seen themselves as the opposite gender they were born into. A MTF is not a he and a FTM is not a she.
Imagine how you’d feel if someone refered to you with the pronouns of the gender that you do not perceive yourselves to be. Wouldn’t you be offended? Yes? Then show respect towards transsexuals and refer to them with the correct pronouns.
