How strange. It’s been removed from the left-hand blogroll. I hope this is nothing permanent.

A peculiar hybrid of personal journal, dilettantish punditry, pseudo-philosophy and much more, from an Accidental Expat who has made his way from Hong Kong to Beijing to Taipei and finally back to Beijing for reasons that are still not entirely clear to him…

Gweilo Diaries was removed because it is too strong against China. And you should be careful or else you will be next.

I think the first comment is from a troll. But he really is off the blogroll at LiC. There was a post from Conrad on the Aggregator, and when I clicked it all I got was an error message. Very strange.

No, he has certainly not been deleted from the Aggregator. In fact I just checked the list of RSS feeds and he’s still there. Perhaps it was a temporary problem with either his or our script. I will keep an eye out for his future posts and let you know if the problem occurs again.

Yes, that link works, Michael. Has he always not been included in the left-hand sidebar that lists all the participating blogs? He’s definitely not there.

Ah, I’ve worked out why he’s not there. Actually we included some blogs when we first began the site without them necessarily applying to be members. I will get his site listed as soon as China Telecom fixes my connection. Have a wonderful few days off in Thailand!

See my recent post about the China blogosphere — he’s not just down, he’s gone, probably forever.
