Very funny. Dowd looks at how Cheney is roaming the nation, wreaking havoc on Bush and his image. (His intimate invitation to Patrick Leahy to “Fuck yourself” hasn’t helped.) He comes across as a deranged and dangerous man.

I kind of disregard the cussing moment. But I do agree, this is one heavy satanic dude who has pushed Bush over the edge.
I’ve been thinking that someone who was an alcoholic and used Christ to save himself, has got to be vulnerable to such co-dependencies, like leaning on Cheney for his strength.
Bush is clueless and Cheney knows more than anyone, including the stuff he’s made up.
It totally feels like the White House is a cult.

I, too, couldn’t care less about the cursing — except they themselves made such a big deal about “decency, a major theme of our increasingly Souther Baptist Republican Party.
And yeah, it is cult-like. Never seen anything like it and I have never seen anything quite so unhealthy overcome America.
