Whatever you do….

Do not miss Bill O’Reilly tomorrow (Tuesday) night. He met Michael Moore on the street in Boston today, and the bad boy himself agreed to go on “the Factor” and duke it out with the nation’s most unethical and self-obsessed pundit. Unfortunately, O’Reilly always has the last word, and if Moore succeeds in making him appear too stupid (which isn’t that difficult) O’Reilly will simply shout out, “Kill his mic,” so there’s no doubt Bill will “win.” Nevertheless, it should be quite a show.

What is this obsession with Mr. Moore, he’s a headline junkie not the next Speilberg. He hasn’t said anything new or anything particularly shocking and yet people are treating him like a man who solved the Kennedy assasination.

Now Moore Vs Howard Stern, that would be interesting.

Neither are smart nor funny.

Let the manure fly on prime time radio.

Sorry Richard, but nobody outscores Moore his own fat self in the “unethical and self-obsessed” department.

ACB, I didn’t mean to leave the impression I was dying to see al-Moore. I want to see the debate, the verbal slugfest, the ultimate contest of slur-slinging polemicists.

Guess I just can’t resist watching the train-wreck.

ACB, say what you will about Moore, but the fact remains he’s a major force in this election. For his showing us Bush reading My Pet Goat after being told America was under attack — for that alone, he’s played a huge role, showing us how our man of steel, Mr. Action Himself, really reacts to the greatest crisis to America in its entire history. Right or wrong, he’s definitely a force to be reckoned with, and that’s simply a fact. If he wasn’t, why would the Repubs have put up so many sites damning him, and why would Conrad be so determined to smash him?

Sam, I’m sure it’ll be available on the Fox web site, unless Moore makes O’Reilly look like a total moron. In that case, the videotape will self-destruct like Bush’s military records.

Drudge supposedly has a transcript up. I didn’t read too carefully, but what I saw reminded me of a conversation between two not-very-bright drunks.

Sure Moore is a political force, and he will probably have more of an effect on raising voter numbers than a certain parties plan to use convicted criminals to collect voter names, but the questions is should he be a political force?

Moore hasn’t said anything new yet he’s opened a lot of eyes that should never have been closed.

America often seems to loose sight of things in the midst of patriotism and glitter, and there is far too much condeming of rivals for a democratic country.

Elections should be civilised and consentrate on important issues like health, education, crime and the economy, and not on who fought in Vietnam, who kissed the Saudi royal family and who’s wife used tax laws to her own advantage.

It is hard enough getting Arab, African and Latin American countries to accept democracy as a viable system without the worlds largest democracy turning to Mr. Moore for advice on who to vote for.

Moore has sensationalised something that millions of people fought and died to protect in countless wars, democracy is a right and not a tool to get yourself in the papers, vote for Bush, vote for Kerry, but don’t vote because of Mr. Moore.

If this documentary has changed your vote then you obvioiuly haven’t been paying attention to the real world.

Moore is as legitimate as any other pundit or political cartoonist; I agree, one shouldn’t make their decisions based only on what he says, but he has managed to put in front of our noses information we never had before, especially the video of how our great leader behaved in hour nation’s most critical moment. For that, I applaud his movie. The media really screwed up here, allowing a myth to be born of bush’s heroism and boldness. Ha. Since no one else had the courage to show us what really happened, Moore is to be congratulated. Unfortunately, most Americans accept what the mass media tell them. We need someone like Moore to shake us up and force us to look at other possibilities. Especially those who accept Fox News verbatim.
