Two very short paragraphs clearly demonstrate why Time magazine’s “blog of the year” is run by total wankers. Expect a lot of this kind of wanking from those who were oh-so-self-righteous about obstruction of justice and perjury just a few short years ago.

For some reason, there is something about blog entries where two out of three sentences contain a cuss word, and where the writter denegrates something whithout a word of explanation, that turns me right off.

Well, I’d hate to be called a wanker. Certainly when students mutter this under their breath I don’t think of it as ‘endearing’.

I said two out of three, as in there is one sentence that I can show to my mother and two that I can’t.
Cussing doesn’t do anything to establish a blogger’s credibility as being serious about current issues.
Keir, my American English is pretty poor, but as far as I’m aware a w*nker is somebody who wouldn’t be welcome to watch my daughters’ gym class unless they kept both hands in plain site, but who would find gainful employment in a Chinese hairdresser’s shop where the lights were a nice shade of ……
