Still recovering from the lung infection/flu that hit me on my flight back home from China. I’m curious why nearly every time I go to China I come home with bronchitis and/or the flu. Is it just me?

Actually it’s the hours you spend on a plane:
Back when I worked strategy consulting, the joke amongst the managing partners was that our yearly flu shots were to avoid OSHA violations. (For those who don’t know, strategy consulting typically involves a Monday-Thursday travel schedule).

Speaking of which, I remember Cookie suggested slim drink a “hipster beer” from the other thread. Dude, don’t rag on hipster beers man. My favorite beer happens to be the Three Floyds Alpha King. Better quality and taste than most mass-produced stuff out there.
Speaking of alcohol… fond memories of Johnnie Walker Black, Hong Kong kids cooped up in the Chicago winter, learning canto from drinking games and mahjongg, seeing a brand-name obsessed, slightly insecure froshie (who can barely speak English) without makeup for the first time. Nostalgia.
What drinks make you feel underage again?

T_co, unfortunately the cough started before I got on the plane. It was mild at first, then got progressively worse during the flight. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but I’ve caught bugs on nearly every trip.

Haha I’m somewhat turned off from drinking out of a container that has a picture of a angry green man grabbing his manboobs on it

Heh gotta get it draft. Me and my buddies make the trek out to the Three Floyds brewery at least once a month. They have a brewpub there, serves great burgers, scotch eggs, and all their beers on tap. Plus you can get a tour of the brewery, nice and beautiful.
