You can still vote for Peking Duck in the Asian Blog Awards for Best Non-Asian (Foreign) Blog (scroll down toward the end of the categories). I’m actually making a decent showing — thanks!!

Hey, Richard, I voted for you twice. Of course, I voted for myself three times. I notice Conrad is still getting tons of votes, despite his mysterious disappearance.
And off (this) topic, could you get your teeth into book banning in America? Couple of links included for reference, if you get inspired.

Dear Richard,
Just a brief note to let you know that I voted for this site earlier today, and that I hope this will encourage you to continue in your efforts to manage this blog site. I have noticed, only within the last few days, that a number of contributors to other China blog sites have been praising the quality of the dialogue/debate that I had with you and Patrick in response to the November 14th posting reporting John Pomfret’s address on the future of China. This is surely good publicity for your site, and is a testimony to how useful a site like this can be when used as a forum for real debate, and the sharing if ideas and viewpoints.
Sites like this one are valuable.
I look forward to you recovering from your present bout of writer’s block/fatigue, and I hope that this site maintains its current position as most popular Asian (foreign) blog.
Best regards,
Mark Anthony Jones
