thuggery such as this waged against the Laobaixing will do more to precipitate the demand for better rule of law than any other situation in china.

I suppose I do agree, reluctantly. It’s just so depressing that things have to become truly dreadful before the people demand change. That said, I don’t want to encourage rampant thuggery against the poor in the name of promoting reform!

The CCP obviously condones this action otherwise the ‘thugs’ would all be in jail or killed. Get rid of the CCP and that will be a start. China has come a long way but hasn’t even reached half way yet…
